On the 29^th June, The Army Training Centre Pirbright and Pirbright Parish Council will be hosting a joint ‘Picnic on the Green’ to celebrate Armed Forces Day.

 

The UK Armed Forces defend the UK and its interests. They are busy working around the world, promoting peace, delivering aid, providing security, and fighting terrorism.

Armed Forces Day is a chance to show our support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community; from currently serving troops to service families, veterans, reservists and cadets.

Showing support for Armed Forces Day provides a much-valued morale boost for the troops and their families and enables us to thank all those who put their country before themselves.

This event will be a wonderful opportunity for local military families to engage with the local community and have some fun.

There will be an abundance of free activities for the whole family to enjoy including bouncy castles, face painting, obstacle courses, military bands/parades, catering vans and lots more.

Free parking will be available on & off site too.
